1. Vehicle Use. The vehicle must only be operated by the named hirer (or additional authorised drivers listed separately). The vehicle must not be used for any illegal purpose, sub-let, or used outside Australia without prior written consent from Fast Tesla.
2. Condition & Care. The hirer accepts responsibility for the vehicle in the condition noted at pickup. Any damage occurring during the rental period is the hirer's liability unless otherwise covered by an active insurance claim or agreement with Fast Tesla.
3. Insurance Recovery Rentals. For third-party recovery rentals, the hirer authorises Fast Tesla to invoice the at-fault insurer directly. The hirer remains liable for charges if the insurer disputes or declines the claim.
4. Charging. The hirer is responsible for maintaining adequate charge for their use. The vehicle is to be returned with no less than 20% battery unless otherwise agreed. Failure to return the vehicle with adequate charge may incur a charging fee.
5. Traffic Infringements. All fines, tolls, and traffic infringements incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the hirer. Fast Tesla will pass on any infringement notices received for the period of this rental.
6. Bond. A security bond (where applicable) will be held and returned within 7 business days of the vehicle's return, subject to vehicle inspection and final invoice settlement.
7. Late Returns. Extensions must be agreed in advance. Unauthorised late returns may be charged at the applicable daily rate plus an administrative fee.
8. Governing Law. This agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
